Christians have set their
sights on the NAIA National
Championship as their
number one goal for the 1979
Football Season.
Bruce Morgan, a senior
from Edenton, is a member
of the Fightin' Christian
football team. He is counted
on to give a strong per
formance for Eton as they
look for the number one
ranking in the upcoming
year.
Last season the Fightin'
Christians faintmi number
two in the nation with as 11-
2-1 mark. They shared the
SAC-8 title and advance
through two playoff games
before bowing in the
National Champioship
Game.
In the 70th year of football
at Elon the elusive national
title is the number one goal
