The first hearing, beginning at 10 A.M. in the board room of the Agriculture Building in Raleigh, will consider ex tension of the provision to permit half-pricing of motor fuel on pumps not equipped to register the over SI.OO price. It is the second year in a row that North Carolina has received this recognition. Material was judged from all fifty states and foreign tourist offices. Chowan Recreation News Volunteer Needed The Edenton-Chowan Parks & Recreation in conjunction with the Chowan Arts Council will be offering a wood carving class for the residents of Elder Lodge.
