The optical center of the lens is a tiny point positioned directly in front of your pupil. This is the point at which light passes through your eye on its way to the retina. If the image is dear, the retina sends a dear picture to the brain. Then you know exactly what you’re seeing. But you can’t get a dear image unless the light is bent correctly. That’s what corrective lenses do. They bend the light just enough to create a clear image. THE CHOWAN HERALD Rev. Richard A. Browder, Sr. performing the ceremony. The work day was originally scheduled for December 1. Usually, both eyes need correcting, but never in exactly the same way. Each lens has to be specially ground to correct the vision problems in each eye. Glasses or contact lenses will not cure any structural errors in your eyes. But they’ll make it possible for you to see clearly and comfortably. In the interest of better vision from the office of: A F. Downum, Jr, O.D. 103 W.
