The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Orval Gardner Williams of Edenton. The double-ring can dlelight ceremony was Thursday, December 3, 1981 performed by Rev. J. M. Bragg. Music was provided by Tim Sutton, organist; David and Leslie Woodard, soloists; Gary Brower, soloist; and Rev. J. M. Bragg, soloist. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a formal length gown of white organza over white peau de soie designed with an open Queen Anne neckline outlined in Scalloped Chantilly lace beaded with pearls. The bodice was overlaid in French chantUly lace with scalloped beaded lace at the waistline. An organza dior bow was featured at the center back. Matching French chantilly lace was used in the sheer bishop sleeves with scalloped lace at the cuffs. The modified A line skirt was enhanced by a deep flounce of French chantilly lace bordered and edged with chantilly lace that extended to an attached cathedral train accentuated by six tiers of lace trimmed flounces that extended up to the waistline. She wore a fingertip veil of illusion edged in chantilly lace held in {dace by a caplet overlaid in lace beaded with pearls. Maid of Honor was Leslie Harrell Woodard, sister-in law of the bride of Green ville. Bridesmaids were Lisa Dobbs of Ayden, N.C., Lori Woodard, cousin of the bride, of Greenville, Pam Cambell of Greenville, Teresa Hedgepeth of Greenville, Melonie Pierce of Greenville, and Corinne Twiddy, sister of the groom, of Edenton. The flower girl was Wendy Williams, sister of the groom, of Edenton. Best man was Orval Gardner Williams, father of the groom, of Edenton. Ushers were David D.
