at the Washington Regional Office,
1502 Market Street, Washington,
N.C.
SUBJECT MATTER. Sub
chapter 15 NCAC 7L sets the criteria
for awarding grants to local
governments tor coastal planning
and management activities. The
grant criteria are reviewed an
nually against the goals of the state
and federal coastal programs. This
year the principal change is to
reduce the levels of funding to local
governments due to decreases in
federal grants.
AUTHORITY: These rules were
adopted pursuant to N.C. G. S.
113 A-112, and 113A 124.
REVIEW: Copies of the rules
proposed to be amended may be
inspected at any courthouse in the 20
coastal counties or at the Office of
Coastal Management in Raleigh,
Washington, Morehead City or
Wilmington.
COMMENTS: Oral or written
comments may be presented at the
public hearing. Persons wishing to
speak at the hearing are asked to
