Dear B. Anne,
I am IS years old. My
boyfriend is 17 years old. We
have been dating for 2
months (on Feb. 20 to be
exact). I love him very
much and he loves me too. I
know I want to be with him
forever. What bothers me
are some of the things he
and his friends do. I don’t
really enjoy being with his
friends. My parents would
kill me if they knew what
my boyfriend and friends
did and I was around. What
do I do? I love him so much!
I can’t imagine being
without him.
Thanks,

Dear No Name,
It is somewhat hard to
answer your letter since I do
not know exactly what these
friends do. I assume its
something you are totally
against. If you haven’t
already, tell your boyfriend
how you feel. Make sure he
knows how strongly you are
against his actions. If he

Glaucoma's Warning Signs
Any unusualy pressure in
tfie eyes may be a sign of
glaucoma. Only early
diagnosis and treatment can
prevent loss of vision.
Glaucoma is an abnormal
eye condition in which the
watery fluid that flows
through the eye fails to drain
as it should. Pressure builds
up on the optic nerve. If the
pressure continues without
relief, the optic nerve will be
damaged and so will your
ability to see well.
In its early stages,
glaucoma can be controlled
with medication to keep the
pressure down. If that doesn't
do the job, surgery can be
performed to provide another
outlet for the fluid
But glaucoma is an in
sidious disease. It can sneak

Why Bite On The Ribbon?
Did you ever wonder
why your dentist asks you
to bite on a thin piece of
ribbon? Actually it is a
very fine strip of paper,
or film coated with
special marking
material. What he is
doing is checking your
bite. He's looking for any
high spots on the surface
of your teeth which meet
prematurely when the
uppers and lowers come
into contact.
He'll check your bite
from several different
directions and from the
information he finds from
the markings on the
ribbon, he'll know just
how your bite works and
whether it needs any bite
correction. It may even
indicate that certain
teeth need building up to
meet their opposing
