The festival will be held at the Rocky Hock Community Center from 10:00 A M. to 5:00 P.M. Persons with lids that have a pressure gauge may be tested. The bride elect is also the daughter of Bobfiy A. Wright, Sr. of Edenton. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Smith of Edenton. He is a graduate of John A. Holmes High School and is employed at his father’s business, Northside Auto. The future bride will graduate from John A. Holmes High School in June. She works part - time at Sears. The wedding will take place June 27 at 3 P.M. at the First Christian Church. No invitations are being sent. Friends and relatives are invited. The bride is the daughter of Col. and Mrs. George William Harrell of Myrtle Island, S.C. The groom is the son of Mrs. John Washington Graham and the late Mr. Graham of Edenton, N.C. The bride’s father gave her in marriage, and the matron of honor was ho* sister, Mrs. Thomas Clayton Pinckney 111 of Myrtle Island, S.C. Her bridesmaids were the groom’s sister, Mrs. James B. Rowe, Jr., and Miss Karen Pace of Raleigh, N.C.; Miss Anne Elizabeth Harrell, the bride’s sister, and Mrs. Robin Durden - Earley of Savannah, Ga. In keeping with the color theme of lavendar and white, the bridesmaids wore white net, off the shoulder, hoop skirted dresses, with lavendar sashes. The bridal gown was traditional, with Alencon lace ruffle trim on the skirt and train. The groom’s brother, John Washington Graham, Jr. of Denver, Colorado was best man. Ushers were Andrew William Harrell and Thomas Clayton Pinckney in, both of Myrtle Island, S.C.; William Blount Shepard 111 of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; and Michael A. McDonald of Bluffton, S.C. A reception following the wedding was given by the bride’s parents at the Hunter Army Base Officer’s Club in Savannah. The bridal couple departed for a wedding trip to the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas. They will live on Myrtle Island, S.C. The bride is a graduate of Stuttgart High School, Stuttgart, West Germany and Augusta Beauty College, Augusta, Ga. She is the owner of the Ardsley Park Hair Studio in Savannah, Ga. The groom graduated from John A. Holmes High School, Edenton, N.C. and attended N.C. Wesleyan College in Rocky Mt., N.C. and the School of Business Ad ministration at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. The meeting was called to order by the President Mrs. H. T. Hollowell who led the devotion and The Lord’s Prayer. Mrs. Jeanette Nixon read the minutes and called the roll, eleven members an swered roll call and Mrs. Arlie Copeland was recognized as a visitor. Mrs. Hollowell gave a report from the District Meeting which was held in Greenville, N.C. April 21. Year Books were handed to those who had not received them before. Announcements were made of up - coming events and the slate of officer were named for the County Council.
