Judson Newborn 111 of Cary, N.C. were married July 31 cm the lawn of Scotch Hall in Windsor, the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Capehart, Jr. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Judson Newbern, Jr. of Ahoskie, N.C. The ceremony was performed by Rev. George Thompkins of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Wind sor. Mrs. Scott Harrell, Jr. of Edenton and Mrs. Douglas Blom of Plano, Texas, sisters of the bride, served as her attendants. Also in attendance were the bride’s sister - in - law, Mrs. George Capehart 111 of Roanoke Rapids, and the bride’s niece, Miss Bess Harrell of Edenton. The groom’s father served as best man for his son. Other groomsmen were the groom’s brother, Thomas Newbern of Winston - Salem, and George W. Capehart 111, brother of the bride.
