Page 8-A Bandon Notebook Be Yourself By Maggie B. Hi Neighbors! Have you ever compared yourself with someone else and aided up slightly disen chanted or smug? Don’t do that! God made you an individual and gave you gifts and talents of your own. Success and happiness “Our lives are songs; God writes the words And we set them to music at pleasure; And the song grows glad, or sweet or sad, As we choose to fashion the measure.” On this Lord’s Day it was a real blessing to be able to get out of bed, stand on your own two feet, move about freely, look out the windows and see the glory of God’s handiwork all about us - then, complete our morning “routine” and enter the church of your choice to praise God for His countless blessings. This is a blessing which man, many people in the world today are denied and one we should take advantage of right now, while it’s still available to us. We never know what tomorrow may bring. Bandon Chapel was filled with the sunshine of brotherly love and fellowship as Supt. Meta Mason joyfully welcomed all to Sunday School, especially our visitors and a large delegation from Simondale Presbyterian Church, Portsmouth, Va., guests of Mr. and Mrs. Butch Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Kent Rowley. Those present were treated to an interesting and enlightening lesson presented by Deacon Wm. F. Smith, entitled "Priscilla and Aquila: Tentmaking Ministers”, Acts 18: 14; Rom. 16:3 - sa. Bible truth brought out was that an open home and one’s chosen vocation can be instruments to further Christ’s cause. Students were asked to evaluate the specific ways their homes and jobs can be used for the Lord. Isdwll | Get the final T.fst Wn show.
