Practices begin today as all the teams begin warming up for the expected opening date of September 20. Equipment will be issued on Tuesday, September 7 beginning at 5:30 in the Recreation Center gym. All players must have paid their in surance before they will be issued any equipment. Midget Soccer There is still time to register for this year’s Soccer season for any boy or girl age 7-15. Three leagues are being offered this year, a Pee Wee league for ages 8 and under, Midget league for ages 9-13, and a Junior league for ages 14-15. Sign up now and don’t miss out on all the action. Adult Volleyball Only one more week is left before the organizational meeting for this year’s Adult volleyball season. Both a Men’s and Women’s league will be offered. Expected playing nights will be on Tuesday and Thurs day with games starting at 7. The organizational meeting will be held Tuesday, September 7 at 7 P.M. at the Recreation Department. All interested teams should have a team representative present at the meeting. Aerobic Dance Class The Fall of the year is coming but don’t use that as an excuse to cover up your body. The Aerobic dance class taught by Julie Spivey and Terry Rothberger can do wonders for you in just a short time. The class meets twice a week on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6-7. There is also a drop - in class on Saturday mornings at 10 if you miss a class or desire an extra work - out. There is a small registration fee charged.
