Labor Day Weekend was the last of the summer season for many people. Just to be sure they didn’t miss out on anything, some took to the highways and by- ways for a last fling at the beaches, in the mountains or some favorite spot; while others not lucky enough to have a holiday Monday worked a bit harder than usual at the many Labor Day sales. To celebrate-Labor Day, many Edenton Native Featured On T.V. An Edenton native who is a retired official at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was featured on an educational TV program-Victory Garden, which aired Sunday evening. Robert Lee Hardison was also the subject of a feature article August 21 in Hie News and Observer in Raleigh.
