Operation Lamb is their annual fund raising effort to obtain monies for the special programs they have for the mentally retarded adults and children. Seventy per cent of the funds obtained in this drive will remain in the six county area of northeastern North Carolina. This will be the first year, however, that Chowan and Perquimans will be included in the operation. Moore Completes Leadership Course Marine Cpl. Anthony D. , Moore, son of Rose A. Moore, Route 3, Edenton, has completed the Food Service Noncommissioned Officer’s Leadership Course. The U-week course was conducted at the Marine Corps Service Support Schools at Camp Lejeune. N.C. The course was designed to provide students a working knowledge of the latest techniques of food preparation and service, plus an understanding of the management and ad ministration of mess facilities.
