Fund Raising Begins
The Knights of Columbus
have announced that on
Friday and Saturday of this
week they will begin
“Operation Lamb”.
Operation Lamb is their
annual fund raising effort to
obtain monies for the
special programs they
have for the mentally
retarded adults and
children. Seventy per cent of
the funds obtained in this
drive will remain in the six
county area of northeastern
North Carolina. This will be
the first year, however, that
Chowan and Perquimans
will be included in the
operation.

Columbus at major shop
ping centers around the
area, wearing their yellow
vests, giving away Tootsie
Rolls and asking for
donations. The Knights will
appreciate your support in
“Operation Lamb”.
