Eden Street EDENTON 482-3218 (2onf»U lhut*d Edenton Baptist Church was the setting at 1:00 in the afternoon Saturday for the wedding of Miss Erica Anne Lee and Mr. Ken Miller Castelloe. Dr. John Allen and Rev. Ron Barrow officiated at the double ring ceremony. Mr. Hugh Dial was organist and Mr. Alton G. Elmore was soloist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Edward Lee of Gatesville. Her hus band is the son of Mrs. Fred Castelloe of Edenton and the late Mr. Castelloe. The bride was given in mar riage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore a formal length gown of ivory satin featuring re-embroidered peau dange lace, pearls and piets, a Vic torian neckline of English net with fitted bodice. The fitted full length sleeves were also accented with peau dange lace, pearls and piets and finished in bridal points. The A-line skirt and catheral length train was applicade with re-embroidered peau dange lace, pearls and piets. The bride’s head piece was an ivory crown with cathedral length illusion. Her bouquet was a cascade of ivory roses. Mrs. Robert Edward Lee, 11, sister-in law of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were: Mrs. Eugene Bouscher of Mechanicville, Va.; Mrs. Ronnie Casper of Tyner; Missses Barbara Eure and Alta Eure, both of Gatesville. Junior bridesmaid was Jenny Castelloe, neice of the groom. Jason Self served as ringbearer and Courtney Hampton was flower girl. Mr. Tommy Castelloe, brother of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were: Mr. Robert Edward Lee, 11, brother of the bride; Mr. Jerry Castelloe of Charlotte, brother of the groom; Mr. Maurice Bunch of Edenton; and Mr. Ralph Howell, Gatesville. Mrs. Phillip God win of Gatesville assisted the bride and attendants. Following the ceremony a champagne reception was given by the bride’s parents and Chowan Golf fc Country Club. After a wedding trip to Ber muda, the newlyweds will reside at Kelly’s Beach in Chowan County. Mrs. Castelloe is a graduate of Chowan College in Mur freesboro and is employed by Edenton Broadcasting Corp. Her husband is a student at Elizabeth City State Universi ty and is employed part-time by Edenton Broadcasting Corp. 1 s I wJmW v EDENTON BPW INDUCTS TEN NEW MEMBERS—Ten new members wow inducted into the Edenton Business and Professional Women’s Club at their regular monthly meeting on November 18,1982. They were Sue Andrew, Teddi Clarkson, Anne Jones, Patricia Downum, Betty B. Pruden, Luciile Stalls, Anna Goodwin, Elizabeth Elmore, Elizabeth Woodard and Yvonne Smith. The Membership Committee, consisting of Martha Hollowell, Chairman. Bonita Perry, Carolyn Ricks, Lina Stallings, Clara Bunch, and Helen Paries, was in charge of the program for the meeting. A ceremony was also held to present both state and national awards. The state award was for sponsoring two new members. Those receiving this award were Elva Stroud, Jane Underkofler, Hettie Wallace and Martha Hollowell. The national award was for sponsoring three new members. Those receiving this award were Elva Stroud and Jane Underkofler. Martha Hollowell inducted the new members and each person was presented a long stem carnation by their sponsor. The ceremony ended with the singing of the emblem benediction. The purpose of the meeting was to select 1982 good citizens from District 8, con sisting of 22 candidates from 10 chapters. Does he chew his food in a straight up and down motion or is the motion “off side”? A child’s chewing habits are an important clue to the alignment of his teeth. If they are not properly aligned, he may be com pensating for this by developing chewing habits that can cause serious dental problems. Malocclusion, for ex ample, is the irregular alignment of teeth and improper meshing of the teeth during chewing. This dental problem may the result of poor jaw relationships and im proper muscle action. When the condition becomes severe it may cause deformation of the jaw and face.
