Gardening j A garden is a lovely thing: A (dace to work, a place to sing, A corner of the world quite rare, A place to lose one’s every care. We sorrow to find in our mental plots The smell of evil and stench of rots. Man’s mind is sharp and hard to sway Yet evil comes with slight delay. The needles of the wind are keen In winter when mind and soil are lean. But spring brings forth a bustling life That harries evil and conquers strife. We garden with GOD those things we love— Plants, minds, and seeds and things above. A challenge in the morning sun, Gardening is for everyone. William W.
