Robin Tournament To Be Held A mixed doubles round robin tournament will be held Saturday at the Chowan Golf & Country Club. Registration begins at 9:45 A.M. with play to begin at 10 o’clock. Holmes High School DECA Club attended and competed in the annual Career Develop ment Conference held in Winston-Salem April 24-26. The conference was three days full of written testing, in terviews, a banquet, cam-, paign speeches, awards ses sion, and an address by Governor James Hunt. Tammy Bachman, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Bachman, competed in the Restaurant Marketing category. She is employed by Hardees. Sherlynne Jordan, daughter of Mrs. Judy Ward of Hobbs ville, competed in the Food Marketing category. She is employed by Food Lion. June Jordan, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. A.W. Jordan, competed in the Restaurant ■ Marketing category. Sharon Hollowell, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William B. Hollowell, competed in the Food Marketing category. She is employed by Food Lion.
