Three honorary degrees were conferred by the college. Leman H. Barnhill, a Williamston businessman, was awarded the honorary Doctor of Humanities degree. Samuel M. Jones, owner and manager of S.M. Jones Co., was awarded the honorary Doctor of Business degree. Dr. O’Neal, Associate pro fessor of pediatrics at jßowman Gray School of Medicine, was awarded the honorary Doctor of Science degree. Restrict boats to no-wake speed in Indian Creek adjacent to Arrowhead Beach Subdivision in Chowan County. 3. Restrict boat speeds near launching ramps and other facilities on Harris Reservoir in the Counties of Wake and Chatham, prohibit entry of boats into danger areas of the reser voir, and limit height of boat rigging to prevent contact with high-voltage power lines The foregoing proposals -e made pursuant to authority con tained in Chapter 75A of the ueneral Statutes of North Carolina, to become effective on August l, 1983.
