The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Carolyn White Raines of Edenton, North Carolina, and Mr. John E. Raines of Hanover, Illinois. She is employed at Pitt Community Memorial Hospital as a medical transcriptionist. The groom is the son of Mrs. Anne Martin of Carson City, Nevada, and Mr. Nor man Dunn of Springfield, Il linois. Mr. Dunn is employed at East Carolina University in the Physics Department as an instrument maker. The bride was given in mar riage by her brother, Mr. John Raines of Fairfield, lowa. Miss Sheree Donley of Greenville was Maid of Honor. Mrs. Kathi Todd of Philadelphia, Pa., was Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Chris Doublet of Greenville; Miss Alma Weathersby of Green ville; Miss Jo Caton of ! Winston-Salem; Mrs. Gayle Balliet of Greensboro; and Miss Jean Byrum of Charlotte. Mr. Lyle Henofer of Charlottesville, Virginia was Best Man for the groom. Ushers were Mr. Michael Dunn, brother of the groom, from Carson City, Nevada; Mr. Greg Ashorn of Green ville; Mr. Ed Newbaker of Greenville; Mr. Steve Umstead of Greenville; Mr. Johnny Walker of Greenville; and Mr. Carl Hartsfield of Greenville. Mistresses of ceremony were Mrs. Joseph Thorud of Edenton and Mrs. George By rum of Edenton. The bride wore a formal gown of silk organza over taf feta. The fitted bodice featured a Victorian neckline defined in Peaud’ange lace with an elaborately em broidered yoke of English net. The bodice was overlaid by Peaud’ange lace and ac cented by seed pearls.
