If they have not done so. then I am sure all the c itizens of this County would like to know why. Mr. Stikeleathcr says that as soon as money is turned over to the State by the County Commissioners the State will let the contract and begin work at once. Ford was in Murphy on Tuesday night of this week where he was attending the Western Xorth Carolina Pastor's Conference. Rev. Ford preached at the conference on Tuesday night of this week. I). S. Russell was a business visitor in Murphy on Tues lay of this week. ( The Bible School tor the young folks of the town which is conducted by Rev. Dorff. assistant pastor of the Local Methodist Church is doing fine. Last week they had an attendance of over 175 and this week they have en rolled more than 200. J. 1!. Sessoms and (I. I?. Hoblitzell were business visitors in Robbinsville on Tuesday of this week. G. I?. Hoblitzell, Clyde H. -larrett and l>. H. Ti Hit t motored t<? Asheville on last Friday and attended the double header between Asheville and Augusta. Mr. Hoblit/.ell says he has never seen Asheville lose a name and so. of course. Ash-, vilie won both games. .1. II. Sessoms wt-nt t?? Canton on last Friday and brought back a new Nash Car. Mr. Sessoms is the local agent for Nash cars. Ci. E. Lail left Andrews Tuesday morning of this week with several to go to see the faith doctor near Gastonia. X. C. Davis Pharmacy has opened up a drug store in Robbinsville. Mr. J. W. S.. li.v.is i.-, in the principal portion of his time there. He states that business there has been very good. Mr. T. N. Bates was a business visi tor in Andrews on Tuesday of this week. Mr. .1. B.
