About 200 J started as freshmen with these 50 ( who are to graduate. Statistics i prove that on an average only 25 s per cent of the students who enter high school graduate. These are the Sessional and On the Road to Manlalay. Kipling is the author of both. They are tc be sung as unison hcru*. A third number. The Volga Boatmen's Song, has been dropped je.ause of lack of tine in which to Practice. GLEE CLUB Kathryn Keener The Glee club met under the direction of Miss Gantt on Friday. It ivas announced that the regular netting day had been changed from Wednesday to Monday. Due to the briefness of time the members were asked to meet after school for practice of commencement songs. ENGLISH NEWS Eria McNabb Miss Gantt's 8th grade English class has just finished a very interesting study of "Julius Caesar.'" Sonu ot the students debated on the subject, "Resolve that Brutus was justified in Killing Caesar". The speakers for tne affirmative were, Joe Miller Elkins. Anna Jean Giant. Negative, Billie Jackson, Mary Williard Cooper. B.'th sides pave their points in n very systematic way. however, the affirmative speakers won the decision of the judges.
