By Marion Don El In the initial game of their 1936 season, the Columbia Marble team, their new uniforms glistening, gala^ vanted at ease over the Hazelwood team at the latter's ground Saturday lnd walked away with the game, 11 F it is the first chance this year Lear Marble has had to take stoct land see just what the boys had in pheir camp. 4 One thing especially surprising was he fine batting range of the team, larbie collected Id hits snd "ine of them were extra base hits?seven doubles and two triples. I Mr. Cole, a native of this county, a Sraduate of the Murphy High school and a teacher for several years died at his home Thursday morning at 8:30 of pneumonia. He had been ill but one week.
