Tuesday night was annual "Ladie
Night" at the Murphy Lions club

ing which was held in the dinin;
room of the Methodist church.

Burrill, 71, who died at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. Warren Sneed, in
Murphy at 10 o'clock last Wednesday
night after an extended illness,
were conducted from the Tomotla
Methodist church Friday morning
iat 11 o'clock with the Rev. R. J.
Starling officiating. Interment was
in the church cemetery. W. D. Town,
son was in charge of funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Burrill was well known in this
county having been a member of the
Unaka church for many years.
Pallbearers were: Neir Sneed, T.
J. Mauney, Sheridan Heighway, Paul
Crawford, Bob Harris and Robert
Akin.
