BANKS
And The
WAR
The Home Front
Modern wars are fought on many fronts, and
one of them is right at home. Life must go on.
People must live, eat, have shelter and clothing,
and carry on in many ways as they did before
the war.
The regular services offered by banks to pro
vide safety for money, expedite payments, faci
litate thrift and so on- are still as important as
ever. We continue to offer them, even though
the stress is now on the special wartime ser
vices. You are invited to use this bank.
