Red Cross To Meet Next Year In Cleveland WASHINGTON. D C. ? The American Red Cross will hold its 1947 annual convention in Cleve land, Ohio, June 9-12, chapters have been informed by Basil O' Connor, national Chairman. The site was selected by a committee appointed for the purpose at the organization's 1946 convention held in Philadelphia in June. Scout Troop Goes On Hike The Murphy Girl Scout troop held its regular meeting Wednes day afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, in the home of Mrs. Ben Warner. The girls hiked half way up Fort Butler Mountain and had a picnic supper. They returned to Mrs. Warner's and had a lesson on "Nature". Scouts present were: Carolyn Alexander. Mary Bolan Brumby, Sally Morris. Jane Brendle. Ann Shields, Rosiland Stalcup, Betty Sue Swaim. Ann Taylor. Sara Jean Weir, and Emmalou Woody.
