menced In the Superior Court of
Cherokee County, North Carolina,
to foreclose the lien of taxes due
plaintiff by defendants for the
years 1928 through 1990 against
the lands of said defendants In
Notla Township, Cherokee County,
North Carolina, to-wit:
In the Town of Culberson.
Being Lots No's. 1, 2, 3, 4, 9 and
8 In Block 9, the same being all of
Block No.9.
Also Lots 8, 7, 8, and 9 In Block
14.
Being 10 lots In all, and being
the same lands conveyed to the
the Defendant upon the ground
that plaintiff and defendant have
lived separate and apart for more
than two years next preceding the
bringing of this action; And the
defendant will further take notice
that he Is required to appear at
the office of the Clerk of the Su
perior Court of Cherokee County,
In the Courthouse In Murphy,
North Carolina, within 20 days
after the 27th day of September,
1991 and answer or demur to the
complaint in said action or the
Plaintiff will apply to the Court
for the relief demanded in said
Complaint

rity vested In the undersigned as
said P. E. McGlll by C. S. Burger
and wife, Ellender Burger, by
deed dated December 10, 1928 and
registered In the office of the Reg
ister of Deeds for Cherokee Coun
ty, N. C. In Deed Book 97 at page
498, reference to which Is hereby
made, said lands being fully des
cribed In the complaint now on
file in this action, reference to
which is hereby made for more
full description.
And for the further purpose of
condemning the said lands to sale
to satisfy said taxes, tax liens. In
terest and costs of this action, and
to forever bar and foreclose all
right, title, estate. Interest, claim
and lien of defendants In and to
or upon said lands; and the said
defendants will further take notice
that they are required to be and
appear before the Clerk of the
Superior Court of Cherokee Coun
ty, North Carolina, at his office in
the Courthouse in Murphy, N. C?
within Twenty (20) Days after the
20th day of September, 1951, to
wit, on or before the 10th day of
Ochober, 1951, and answer or de
mur to the complaint In this ac
tion, which is now on file with
copies for defendants, or the plain
tiff will apply to the Court for the
relief demanded in the complaint.
