The range was laid off, and wood shavings ?vere scattered to protect shoes and clothing, by R. T. Sylvester. Vrnold Dalrvmple and other offi cers of the club assisted with the management of the match. Several turkeys and chickens .vere available for prizes. Refresh ments also were available. Pro ceeds of $88 were placed in the ?lub's treasury to be used for re tocking forests with coons and improving hunting conditions. Ap proximately 100 coons have been purchased and released by the ^oon Club and Wildlife Club Other matches are to be sche duled in the near future. A $25 reward has been offered by the club for any person report ing evidence sufficient to convict inyone of illegally taking a coon ~>ut ox" season.
