Mrs. Dime Lunsford of An
drews announces the marriage of
aer daughter. June, to Floyd
Chuck) Brooks, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Jeff Brooks, Friday, June 30,
at 4 p. in.
The wedding was solemnized at
hs .home of the bride before an
improvised altar of fern and glad
oil. flanked by white candles In
tall candleabrs.
The Rev. J. A. Richardson, Jr.,
officiated, using the double ring
ceremony. Only members of the
immediate family were present.
Mrs. J. G. Carrier presented
nuptial music before and during
the ceremony. As she played "Be
cause-' the candles were lighted by
Miss Frances Brooks, sister of the
groom, and Miss Judy Davis, cou
sin of the bride. As the "Wedding
March" was played the bride and
groom entered together. They were
unattended. (
Mrs. Carrier played, 'To A Wild
tose" softly during the ceremony.

aries. Her shoulder corsage was a
purple orchid.

Miss June Lunsford, byde-elect
was honored with a shower given
by Miss Sue Hall at Miss Hall's
home Tuesday at 8 p. m.
Everyone participated In appro
priate games, following which Miss
Lunsford opened her gifts.
