Ten members and six children heard two book reports. The group made plans for a booth at the fair this fall. Members discussed the mass X-Ray survey to begin Au gust 5 and decided to use their , influence to encourage people to ' take advantage of this free service. Wayne Queen of Murphy, after an extend ed illness, were held Saturday at 2 p m in Marble Baptist Church. The Rev. Mr. Bvers officiated and burial was in Moss Cemetery with Townson Funeral Home in charge. He was a native of Graham County and had resided for many years in Buncombe and Cherokee Counties.
