Young Succumbs To Long Illness James Henry Young. 77, a far mer. died at 1 p m. Friday. Au gust 15. at the home of a daugh ter, Mrs. Joe Teague. Route 3. Blairsviile. Ga . after a long ill ness. He was a member of one of the I oldest families in Union County. Ga. His great-grandfather came to this country from Germany and vas given a land grant. Funeral servic-s were conducted In Providence Methodist Church, of which he had been a member for more rhan 50 years. The Rev. John Cock officiated and burial was in the church cemetery with Ivie Funeral Home in charge. Grandsons. Miles and Floyd Payne. Randal Teague. Franklin Young. C. L Christopher ard James Dill, served as pallbearers. Surviving are two sons. Alvin and Will of Blairsviile: six daugV ters. Mrs. Mary Forrester. Mrs. Aline Teague. Mrs. Alma Dills, and Mrs. Lena Payne, all of Blairsviile: Mrs. Grace Christo pher, and Mrs. Dessie Fox of Gas tonia: 40 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
