Mrs. Daly was well known here

Born June 1, 1864 at Defiance,'
Ohio, she was the daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs Jacob Clemens
While a young girl the family
moved west via covered wagon,
over the Oregon Trail and settled
in Boise, Idaho Valley where her
father homesteaded. They were
aihong the earUeet settlers in that
region. A few year Is later she wa:
married to Isaac N. Daly, and was
the mother at seven children.
In 1904, the Daly family moved
to the Province of Alberta, Can
ada where Mr. Daly had become
Interested in a cattle ranch. He
died in 1913, after which Mrs. Daly
ived on the ranch with one at her
jns until 1929 when ihe came to
Murphy to make her home with
Mr. and Mrs. Huher.
Leaving Murphy. Mr. and Mrs.
Huber and Mrs Daly moved to
Alb.-ns, Tenn, where Mr. Huber
cased the Robert E. Lee Hotel and

Funeral services were held Fri
day at 10:30 a. m. in Mars HUl
Presbyterian Church at which die
