Sgt. Brown is a section , leader in the 73rd Anti-Aircraft j Artillery Automatic Wpa pons Bat talion. He entered the army in 1348 and formerly was stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas. During World War II, Brown served with the US Navy from 1942 to 1946 In both i the Atlantic and Pacific. He for-' merly attended North Carolina j Vocational Textile College and' was employed as a salesman by the Kambrell Furniture Co. His wife, Neha, lived on Rt. I, Mur phy and he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Brown, Rt. 1, Belmont N. C.
