Ranger School Holds Parents' Open House Open House wlU be held at Ran ger School Dec. 18, beginning at 10 a. m with a recital by Mrs Axiey's music pupils. Free lunch will be served to every parent present. Entertainment in the af ternoon will be provided in the form of talking films, rarents of every school child in the system are invited. Seamoti Attend* Hotel Men's Meet In G'boro Harry Seamon was in Greens boro the latter part of last week attending the annual N. C. Hotel Association Convention. Mr. Sea mon traveled the largest number of mile* to attend the meeting. Officials of the association are Arthur Budeenhagen of Raleigh, president; B. B. Nicholson of Kingston, vice-president; R. B. , Curran of Raleigh, executive vice-president and secretary; and ENLIST IN NAVY i James D. Hubbard of Murphy and Johnny O. Hall of Andrews are the two Cherokee County men who were enlisted in the Navy in November, according to the US Navy Recruiting substation in Ashevilie.
