Andrews Pres. Church Plans Special Program The Andrews Presbyterian Church will present their annua! Christmas program. The Shep herd's Stoiy", Sunday. December 21, at 7:30 p. m Members of the Sunday School will take part in the pageant. It will be directed by Mrs. John C. Neville and Mrs. L. B. Nichols. The church choir, under the di rection of Mrs. Edwina Bristol, will present a program of Christmas Music. Included on the program will he "Glory to God", by Rogers; "A Star and a Song", by Holton; "And There Were Shepherds," by Wilson; "Gloria In Excelsis Deo" (an old French carol); "The Birth day of the King", by Neidlinger; "The Song of the Magi", by Hol ton; "The Song That the Angel Sang", by Soechtig; "Cantique de Noel" (O, Holy Night), by Adam; "Jesu Bambino." iT h e Infant Jesus), by Yon; "Fairest Lord Jesus," by Willis. December 24, at 7:30 p. m. 'The Christmas Story"- a play ! will be presented by the younger children. It will open with the ] Cherub Choir singing. "Away in j a Manger". The Scriptures will be read by Byron Chandler. Dickie I Lay. Martha Jean Rector and Pat- j ty Brown. In the pageant, Mary; will be represented by Gladys Rector; Joseph, by Billy Hall; the shepherds, by Billy Blevins, Wen dell Barlow, Jimmy Stover and J Loster Lunsford: the Wise Men, by Jack McGuire, Tommy Battle and Truett West. As the scene is made the Junior Choir will sing, "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear." The play will close with the Cherub Choir singing. "Little Baby in the Manger." The' program centers around a Presbyterian Church's Cherubic Choir This cherubic little choir spreads Christmas cheer in Murphy from its loft on the porch of the Presbyterian Church. Norman, will be sung at the Murphy First Baptist Church Sunday night by the adult choir, directed by Miss Velma Umphfres.
