Marines Announce '
New Officer Training
The first Marine Corps
training program of 1953, open to
tooth nmrM and tingle
graduates, and seniors who grad
uate between now and February
19, was announced here today by
Major W. E. Brand<*i, in charge of
Marine Corps recruiting in the
state.
Applicants who are selected will
attend a tan-week program at the
Marine Corps Schools, Quantico,
Va., Upon completion of the ootorse
they will be appointed second lieu
tenants and begin a five month
Special Basic Course designed to
acquaint them with duty on land
and sea.
Interested applicants are advis
ed to contact the nearest Marine
Corps Recruiting, Reserve, or Of
ficer Procurement activity for on
interview.
