HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
IN ANY TRACTOR
NEW
TRACTOR
Now, in the new Golden Jubilee Model, Ford Tractor
engineers have carried a time-proved hydraulic system
to a new high in speed of response, lifting power,
dependability an? wide usefulness. ... -
This Live-Action hydraulic system gives almost
instant action at all times when the tractor engine is
running. It handles larger implements and heavier loads.
And, with' Hy-Trol, it acts even faster when desired.
Also possible is an almost unlimited variety of remote
cylinder* operations. In addition to all the time-proved
advantages of the Ford Tractor's built-in hydraulic
system, you get a choice of hydraulic speeds, quick
hook-up, smooth operation of remote cylinders* and the
ability to handle bigger loads.
The more you learn about the new Ford Tractor the
more you will find that it can bring new ease and speed
to your fanning?new economy, too. Come in?look

Cherokee Included
In TVA Survey
Cherokee, Clay and Buncombe
Counties will be included in an
inventory^ of fp^e^t resources of
the Tennessee Valley by TVA it
was-announced today.
The first TVA inventory of tim
ber supplies in the Valley was
made in 1940 and in 1930 detailed
surveys were made in 19 sample
areas.
Under the new proposal TVA
will survey a number of counties
each year and cover the entire
Valley over a 10 year period. Such
a plan, it was said, will provide
more up-to-date information on
industrial opportunities and needs
for resource development.
It wil| also be more economical
than trying to cover the whole
Valley once each decade, TVA be
lieves.
The continuous survey will be
gin in the 1954 fiscal year and will
be concerned with an attempt to
find out for the entire Valley how
much forest land is being managed
for continuous yield.
