Ray of Mur phy today stated that Dead letters are expensive lor the post office to handle. It is a disappointment for you and the person to whom you are sending mail. He said, the National Association of Postmas ters is stressing-proper address ing of mall?in order to reduce the number of Dead Letters. Always place your return address on all mall. It should ttiow your home address when mailing away from home. It should show your complete address, street and num ber, or RFD number and box num ber. When addressing mall it should be complete and correct. Include in the address the zone number if known. In the case the person to woom you are address ing, is visltag, send the letter in care yt the person with whom they are visitng. This applies to all mall including Parcel Post. Dead letters and other Dead Mail, is mail that cannot be deliver ed addressed, and doe* not have the return addrem Your postmaster, poet office clerks and carriers will gladly ad vise you on any problem you have in proper preparing and addressing mail.
