BY EVA WOOD
The young girls and boys of
Andrews and Hayesvllle were In
the limelight Friday night at the
Andrews School auditorium per
forming in professional fashion.
Indeed the dance recital of MISS
HILDRED H EATON'S students
iwas tops in originality, perfor
mance, costuming ax.d exhibition.
Misg Heaton was assisted by
MRS. C. E, STANDRIDGE and
MRS. ROBERT HEATON. pian
ists and many untiring parents.
It would oe impossible to re-'
late the many illustrative dances,
but to mention a few of the hits,
"Doggie in the Window", "But
tons and Bows". "Lady of Spain",
"May Pole Dance", "Top Hat,"
"White Tie and Tails", "Tea For
iTwo", "Omental Daincje" and
"Ballroom". Incidentally JOHN
NY GERNERT had a grand time
"breaking" during the ballroom
dancing.
Certainly the costumes were
of extraordinary beauty and
could easily have have been of ex
pert designing. Needless to say,
much work and time were spent
came home last Friday to attend
the commencement exercises of
his wife, 'Jimmle" Davis Wallace.
"Jimmie" and Harry left Tuesday
morning, returning to Cleveland,
Ohio where they will make their
home.
Monday night Murphy High
sent another group of boys and
girls out into their various places
in the world. The ones who are
left behind really hate to see
them go and M. H. S. will certain
ly miss them, but we hope they
will be a success In whatever they
do.
