Bueck. | A program of nuptial music was j presented by Mrs. Duke Whitley, organist and Mrs. Glenn Bates and Neil Davidson, vocalists. The bride entered the church with Mrs. R. C. Mattox, a close friend and was met at the altar by the bridegroom and his son. W. B. Elliott of Hartsville, S. C. She wore a gown of grey chiffon and lace and a purple orchid. Mrs*. Mat tox wore a dress of navy sheer with a corsage of pink daisy chrysan themums. Duke Whitley. Cloe Moore, W. M. Fain and Hieronymus Bueck served as ushers. Immediately following the cere mony a reception was held in the assembly room of the church, where the bride and groom, the son, W. B. Elliott, the daughter, Mrs. R. M. Shannon, the grand daughter and grandson, Miss Rach el York Shannon and John Shan non of Charlotte, and the Rev. and Mrs. Asmond Maxwell received the large number of guests present. Music for the reception was fur nished by Mrs . Margaret Akin, Mrs. Tom Axley, Mrs. J. W. David son, pianists, and Miss Shannon pianist and violinist. The table spread with a white lin en cloth, was beautifully decorat ed with pink bows, silver candela bra holding tuberoses and the room was decorated with pink glads and other flowers.
