The Red Croea Blood mobile will* be in RobbinevlUe Wednesday,1 Jung 2, Leanord Lloyd Red Cross Chapter chairman said today. The Bloodmobile will be at the | American Legion Hall between the hours of 12:90 and 5 p.m. Under the new blooj program, Mr. Lloyd said, any person giving blood will receive a card, thereby protecting themselves and their family for the year. U blood is needed by the donor, or his family, they may present the card and be antttlad to the blood without obli gation. Section 314 of the Agricul tural Adjustment Act of 1038, as emended, provides that the mark eting of any kind of tobacco In ex cess of the farm marketing quota shall be subject to a penalty of 40 percent of the average market pricefor such kind of tobacco for the immediately preceding mar keting year. The Senate on May 4, 1054 pass ed a Bill to amend this* provision to increase the penalty on the mar keting of excess tobacco from 40 percent to 50 percent of the aver age market price for the im mediat ely preceding marketing year. This Bill is now being considered in the House of Representatives. The Bill as passed by the Senate would become effective during 1954 on all kinds of tobacco.
