The Andrew'a Jr. Womu'i Club
met in the home of Mrs. Harold
KaUman, Friday, May 28. Plana
were discussed about the Fourth
of July Parade and plans were
made for the club's contribution
to the Hospital Drive. Refresh
ments were served by the host
esses, Mrs. Ruth Baldwin and
Mrs. Katsman. Hie next meet
ing will be held June 22.
METHODIST FOOD SALE
The Andrews Methodist Church
will sponsor a food sale in the
Rowland Building Saturday, June
5. The sale will begin at ? a. m.
All funds from this sale will be
contributed to the Hospital Drive.
Any contributions made to this
sale will be appreciated.
STORY HOUR
Story hour will begin Friday,
June 4, at 3:10 p. m. In the Lib
rary. All children are Invited to
attend the Story Hour which is
sponsored by the Konnaheeta
Club. There will be stories, games
and refreshments. The Story Hour
will be held every other Friday.
At this time the children will have
the opportunity to select books
from the Library.
BOY 8COCT8 CAMP
The Boy Scouts of Andrews
ramped at Hiawassee Lake over
the week end. They were accom
panied by Harold Katsman. Scout
master, and Dick Waldroup,
tent Scoutmaster.
Q1KL SCOUTS CAMP
Eleven Girl Scouts from Canton,
Ga., camped in Andrews Friday
and Saturday. They camped at
Camp Nutshell, which is located
In the Dewar's backyard. Mrs.
Paul Boring and her daughter,
Sara Alice, were in charge of the
Camporee. Mrs. Boring Is the dau
ghter of Mr. and Mrs. Dewar.
Mrs Boling, director if the Scout
movement in Canton, Ga., was
special guest. Also four mothers
of the (ill scouts were guest*.
LADIES NIGHT
The Andrew* Lions Club held
their Ladies Night, Thursday.
May 27. in the 8hell Dinning
1 Room. Guest speaker tor the
evening was Carl Ledford of Mar
ble, who Is blind. He told of his
experiences while in training at
Camp Butner.
During the program favors were
presented to the lady guests and a
past president pin was presented
to President Herman Brauer, and
r. gift was presented to Lioness
Mary Brauer and Lioness Myra
Walker.

The Andrews Lions Club Board
of Directors meet Thursday,
June J Host for the meeting will
be Lion William Walker, who is
also secretary of the Lions Club.
