Ga. Mt Fair Staged This Week The Georgia Mountain Fair la being held this week, Aug. 16-20 in Hiawassee, Ga. The fair, a non-profit, mulU-coua ty project Is Incorporated by the Towns County Lions Club. Events at the fair Include exhib its from some 2fl counties in divi sions of agriculture, horticulture, forestry, livestock, poultry, antl tiques. curios, home products needlework, arts and crafts. Flower show was held Tuesday, Aug. 16. Yesterday's feature was the dedication of several new and modern Towna County school plants. Dr. D. M Collins, state sup erintendent of education, was the speaker. * Today an old fashioned muzzle loading "hog rifle" shooting match for beef prizes will be held. > The livestock show will take place tomorrow (Friday), followed by a foxhound show.
