Sixteen attended. jJarners Entertain Andrews Senior Class With Party Mrs. Grady Garner and daughter Miss Virginia Gamer entertained members of the Senior class of the Andrews High School, and their sponsors. Miss Jean Christy and Mr. James Wood with a dinner party at their home during the Christmas holidays. The table was covered with a white linen cloth and centered with an arrangement of Christmas ber ries and greenery flanked by tall red tapers in silver holders. Murphy Ladies Entertain With \eir Year Party Miss Hattie Palmer and Miss Marvie Walker were joint hostesses at a New Years Eve Watch Party. They had a most enjoyable time watching TV and waiting for the New Year to come in. The refreshments were delicious consisting of fruit cake with whip ped cream, nuts, candy and coffee. Australia Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Battles Jr. who have spent the past two years in Cooma, Australia arrived Mon day by plane in Atlanta, Ga. They were met at the airport by their son Bruce III, their son-in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Thompson, also by Mrs. Battles' two sisters and their fam ilies, Mr, and Mrs. Lay Seay of Jasper, Ga.
