Some ljurphy fans, who were looking for a strong Bulldog come back the second half, were jolted into a rude awakening. The Wild cats took the offensive and held it for most of the half, the Bulldogs failing to make a first down. Amos set up p threat with an intercepted pass and ran to Andrews' 20 yard line, but the Bulldogs fi?nbled to douse their own flame. Andrews also let the ball slip a way but in an Alphonse-Gaston act, J. Morris gave it up once more. Shortly before quarter's end Bush, Andrews quarter back, in tercepted a?pass. In the final quarter the Wild cats came alive. Hub Myers ripped through the central wall to a first down on Murphy's 20. Subsequent gains brought the ball, lugged by Terry Postell, to the 13 yard line, where the Bulldogs held. But after Birchfield's punt, Nichols, Myers, and Terry Postell carried on to the 6. Then came the Bulldogs' stone wall stand. Andrews had yet anoth er chance as Murphy was forced to punt, but Birchfield intercepted a pass to bring the game's end. MURPHY DRIVE-IN THURSDAY .
