Judge Oliver Daniels, 88, has been hold ing court her for 53 years and is still keenly alert. He recalls the case of a woman who was fined for a misdemeanor. The woman, a neighbor of the judge, asked for a few hours to raise the money and the judge agreed. She returned only a few moments later and paid the fine. "ftiat evening. Judge Daniels learned the woman had borrowed the money from his wife.
