PROTECT THEM/ Announces Job Openings Immediate job openings for prison guards in this vicinity were announced today by Jack A. Wilson, manager of the Employ ment Security Commission local office. The local office manager said the drive to recruit guards in this area is part of an effort taking place all over the State to fill 130 new guard positions in the Prison Department. TTie new guards will begin work on July 1 in 51 Prison units scattered over the State. After passing initial screening, applicants will be interviewed on June 21 by a committee from the Prison Department.
