Nichols has returned Monday from Daytona Beach, Fla. She has been vapationing there with her sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Raxter of El Paso, Texas arrived Monday, June 20 for a two weeks visit with Mr. and Mrs. Woodie Raxter and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Raxter. Mrs. Raxter will visit her parents in Convord before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Meadows, Virginia Ruth and Danny, spent week before last with Mrs. Mea dow's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Chandler Sr. They also visited her brother, Mr. A. B. Chandler Jr. and family. While there be visited many places of inter est including Disneyland, Death Valley, Mt. Whitney, several Old Spanish Missions, a trip to Mex ico, and perhaps the greatest en joyment of ail was seeing the Dodgers play seven games. Charles West who is employed in Conyers, Ga., spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. V. West. Crafts Exhibited At Home Demonstration Club Meet ANDREWS ? The Valleytown Home Demonstration Club held the June meeting on Wednesday, June 22, in the dining room at the First Baptist Church. Mrs. T. C. Christmas and Mrs. Glenn McGuire were hostesses. A dairy food demonstration was given by Deborah Anderson. The roll call and minutes were read by Mrs. John Whisenhunt. Mrs. E. U. Burch, president, gave a report on Craft Camp. She exhibited tin craft made un der supervision of Mrs. Ben War ner. Mrs. B. M. Gibbs reported on copper enameling. Mrs. John Whisenhunt, hooked rugs and 1 Mrs. Luke Ellis who served as an instructor, reported on her class of copper enameling. A report on the Fair Committee was given by Mrs. Cliff Richardson.
