Mrs. Lois June Crawford entertained with a party at her mother's home last Wed nesday honoring her son, David on his fourth birthday. The children enjoyed playine games on the lawn. After ' opening of gifts. Mrs Crawford served cake, ice cream and lem onade to the following: Gloria Jean Conley, Donna Adams. Deb ra Crawford, Mrs. Wayne Battles. Mrs. James Conley. and the grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wil liams. Phillip Brauer Celebrates 13th Birthday ANDREWS ? Mrs. Herman Brauer entertained at her home Thursday afternoon, June 30. honoring her son Phillip on his thirtentJh birthday, with a swim ming party. During the afternoon of swim ming the group enjoyed mary se | lections of musical recordings. Frank Forsyth l? spending a month at the Citadel in Charleston, South Caro lina. General Mark Clark, director of the Citadel, and Mrs. Clark, have taken a personal interest in all the various activities. Billy i? taking lessons in skiing, sailing, swimming. Junior Liu Saving, target practice, wrest ling and ramming. He recently won a wrestling matcn and qualified to enter the Chess Tournament. Billy says he is enjoying the camp very much. Barbara and Robert re mained with their grandmother while their parents accompanied the Wagon Train from Tellico Plains. Dickey Higdon will arrive this week to spend the summer at home. He has been employed in New York the past six months. Rev. and Mrs. George F. Wright of Middlesville. Ga., vis ited Mr. and Mrs. Muss McGuire this past week. Mrs. Woodie Raxter and grand daughter, Rebecca Raxter are spending this week in Chatta nooga. Tenn. as guests of her son. Mr. Bill Raxter. He will accompany them home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. James Conley and Gloria Jean spent the week end in Charlotte. Their son. Jim mie Mack, returned home with them after a week's visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hamrick of Lexington. Va., were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Zala Adams. Mrs. Hamrick is the former Miss Carol Adams, grand daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adams. Hayes Ramsey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ramsey is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Reece Robertson of Burnsville. A/3c Thomas Hermann Brau er. -who is stationed at Gunter Air Force Base, Gunter. Ala., arrived Saturday for a week's visit with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Hermann Brauer. Mr. John Pullium left Monday for Indianaplois, Ind. after spend ing a week with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Crook and Mary Jo spent the week-end in Canton. Mr Herman Brauer attended the Southern Furniture and Rue Market in High Point, June 28 through July 1. Approximately 4.500 attended the market includ ing its first buyer from the new 50th State of Hawaii. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wolfe and daughter, Terry, have returned from a visit with relatives in New York and Reading, Pa. While in New York they visited Mrs. S. J. Writer, stopped in Andrews Tues-| day, June 28. enroute to Rob binsville. He joined the wagon Train on Tatham Gap Road and was present when they Mopped to pay remembrance to Chief i Junaluska. Mr. Parris accom panied them on to Robbinsville for the parade. Mrs. Bertie Luther of Asheville is visiting Mrs. Fannie Long and other relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Ewen Burch and family of Jackson, S. C. and Mrs. Roy Byrd wetre week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. U. Burch. Mr. and Mrs. George Hadley, of Miami, Florida are spending several days in Andrews. Their son and nephew. Dickey and Tom my were members of the Wagon Train and will return to Miami, with them. The boys plan to re turn to Andrews in August. A-3c Jacqueline Gurnee, of Gunter, Alabama, was the house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Brauer this week. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Trotter of Chattanooga. C. are spending the week end with Mrs. Betty Hood. The Methodist Youth Fellowship had a moat successful and enjoy able Youth Activities week with about 30 attending each night. They hope to continue that spirit in their fellowship. All youth are invited to meet each Sunday eve ning at 6:10 p.tn. for a period of fellowship and an Inspirational program. Mr. and Mr*. Harold Higdon and family of Fensacota, Florida, are visiting relatives and friends in Andrews this week. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Reagan of Asbevillt are visiting Mr. Reagan's sisters. Mrs. Walter Brawn and family and Mr. and Kent Laughter returned to Petersburg, Va. Tuesday after spending several days with his mother, Mrs. Lucy Laughter.
