Hears Program On Japan The WMS met at the home of Mrs. Ben Mann for their monthly meeting Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock. Mrs. Vinson Hall pre sided and Mrs. Roger William? gave the devotional. The topic for the program was Japan. Mrs. Olson Hall displayed various items brought or sent from Japan, including hand paintings of Christ, scarfs, jew elry boxes and other things made from ivory. Those on the program were: Mrs. Mae Hannah. Mrs. Waynp Edwards. Mrs. Ralph Kilpatrich. Mrs. Herbert Raxter and Mrs Vinson Hall. Reports were read and a com mittee was selected to appoint officers for the coming year. Refreshments were served by Misses Carol Bryant and Mary Ruth Luther. The next meeting will he held at the home of Mrs. Olson Hall. Hampton Reunion The Hampton Reunion will be held at the home of Rev. and Mrs. C. A. Smith near Murphy on Sunday September 4. Friends of the family are cor dially invited to join them for this "get-together." Mr. Kenneth Helton visited relatives here this week. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Graves and little son have returned to their home in Akron, Ohio, after visit ing Mr. Graves' parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Graves. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gulley and little daughter. Karen, visited in Atlanta over the week-end.
