Mrs. Lynn Wood, president, presided over business ses sion. it was decided to send an offering to the Home for the Aged In Hickory. Six members were pre sent at the meeting. Shower Andrews - Mrs. GeneWald roup, a recent bride and the former Miss Lois AnnWllson, was honored at a miscellan eous shower Thursday, Jan uary 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Vincent Har din. Hostesses were Mrs. Rubye Bailey, Mrs. Sally Bailey, Doris Ann Bailey, Mrs. Delia Mae Sherrlll and Mrs. Vincent Hardin. A color scheme of pink and green was used in refresh ments and decorations through out the home. DIFFERENTMONTHS JANUARY starts a new year and It gives me lots of cheer. FEBRUARY Is when the snow Is just about gone and you can have fun sing ing a song. MARCH is when I fly my kite It is made for a long, long flight. APRIL has many showers. Then May has many flowers. MAY is very nice. My mother makes pies with lots of spice. JUNE is just right for lots of fun. In the hot, hot sun. JULY Is when I pick my fruit. And I sell It for loot. AUGUST Is when I ride in a boat. And I don't have to wear a coat. SEPTEMBER is when I go back to school. And sometimes learn a new rule. OCTOBER is when the witches come out. And sometimes you dress like a Boy Scout. NOVEMBER has a little chill.
