Funerel Director MISS BOBBIE KING Miss Bobbie Sue King, 22, died in Oak Ridge, Tenn., at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10th. Services were held at 4 p.m. Monday in Marble Spring Bap tist Church. The Rev. Arvile Swafford and the Rev. C. A. Smith of ficiated, and burial was in Moss Cemetery. Miss King was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School in 1957. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Surviving are the father, W. C. King of Knoxville; the mother, Mrs. Lucy Hughes King of Murphy; two brothers, Lloyd of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and Charles King of Knoxville; two sisters, Mrs. Robert A. Onev of lackson. Ohio, and Wanda Lee of Murphy, the Paternal grand mother, Mrs. Carrie King of Murphy, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hughey Hughes of Murphy. He was a retired merchant and rural mail carrier. He was a member of Marble Springs BapdstChurch and the Masonic Lodge. He was mar ried to the former DlxleCuth bertson of Swain County who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Hugh Penland of Murphy; one grandson: four brothers, Fred of Wichita, Kans., Bruce of Akron, Ohio, Frank of McCaysvtlle,Ga.,and Roy Newman of Marble; and one sister, Mrs. Creed Van dergriff of Huxson, Tenn. Services were held at 2:30 p. m. Saturday in Marble Spring Baptist Church. The Rev. Arvil Swafford and the Rev. Algie West officiated, and burial was inMossCeme tery. Town son Funeral home was in charge. ROBERT LEE PHILLIPS Robert Lee Phillips, 39, of Rt. 2, Murphy, in the Martin's Creek Section, died shortly after receiving injuries in a - car wreck. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, in Little Glade Baptist Church of which he was a member. The Rev. Carl Cunningham and Rev. Ham Coffey officiated. Burial was in the Old Martin's Creek Cemetery. Surviving Mr. Phillips are the widow, Mrs. June Car ford Phillips of the home; his mother, Mrs. Josephine Orr Phillips of Murphy, seven brothers, David, Tommy, Or land, Hlllard and Manuel, all of Rt. 2, Murphy. Services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Shooting Creek Church of God. The Rev. Jack Thomas and the Rev. Emeraon Davenport officiated and burial was in Bethel berry cemetery. Mrs. Ledford was a native of Clay County, the daughter, of the late George and Ollle Moss Ledford. She was a member of Shooting Creek Church of God. Surviving are tho Husband, Curds C. Ledford, two daugh ters, Mrs. Girlie McClure and Mrs, Hazel Patterson of Hayesvllle: five sons, Neal, Horace, Buford and Cllne of Hayesvllle, and Norman of Filbert, S.
