ASC Committeemen Election To Be Held Sept. 1 1 Plans are now being formu lated by ASC county committee for holding ASC community committeemen elections. Elections will be held at each community polling place on September 11, 1961. Petitions signed by 10 or more eligible voters nominating persons for membership on the community committee will be received at the county office any time between now and August 21, 1961. Names of persons so nominated will be Included in the slate of nominees if found willing and eligible to serve. If a person nominated by petition Is found ineligible he will be notified of such determination prior to completion of the slate of nominees and he may appeal to the slate of nominees. Such additional nominations as are required or as determined desirable will be made by the community committee. ACP approval may now be obtained by any farmer to seed acreage to winter cover crop. This Includes farmers who have already received their ACP approval. Those farmers who have not been in this year may now apply for any approved practice. * ? ?
